If you haven’t been to Finn’s Beach Club, you’re missing the point to go to Bali. Finn’s is an exclusive beachfront lifestyle venue now open to all those who want to experience the “real” Bali, far from the madding crowds and traffic. Upon entering the perfectly manicured resort, the amazing panoramic views across the Indian Ocean make an immediate impact.
I visited the club two times this year, first in August and later in October. I notice something different about the tides. The first time I went there, the tides were high and it was a great place to hide from the sun. I’m that type of person who like to swim around on a beach instead of just sitting and enjoying the view. It was the best day of my life.
But when I visited Finn’s again in October, the place was not as awesome as it was. No tides and nobody was swimming. A group of people were enjoying wine in the water where you could almost see the seabed because it was very shallow. I end up sleeping for one hour in one of the tent.
Nevertheless, Finn’s Beach Club is a must-visit place in Bali. It has a killer view, romantic ambience, good foods and drinks. There are over 60 sunbeds to laze inand order cooling cocktails and temptingly, naughty nibbles. For the more active, there is a choice of kayaking, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding and toys for the kids. Snorkelling is a must when the tide pulls low and rock pools and a crystal clear laguna are left behind, holding an interesting collection of tropical life. There is seating for up to 50 for functions (think wedding parties, anniversaries, or intimate family gatherings).
